Dashboard Overview

Your dashboard is the central hub for managing and exploring your family tree.

Dashboard Layout

The dashboard is divided into several sections to give you quick access to important information and actions:

Statistics Cards

At the top of the dashboard, you'll see summary statistics:

• Total Individuals - Number of people in your tree
• Total Families - Number of family units
• Media Files - Photos and documents uploaded
• Sources - Citations and references

Quick Actions

Common actions are available with one click:

• Add Individual - Create a new person
• Add Family - Create a new family unit
• Upload Media - Add photos or documents
• Import GEDCOM - Import existing data

Recent Activity

See the latest changes to your family tree:

• Recently added individuals
• Recently modified records
• Recent media uploads

Featured Stories

If you have featured stories or biographies, they appear on the dashboard for quick access.

The sidebar provides access to all major sections:

User Menu

Click your profile icon in the top right to access:

• My Profile - View and edit your profile
• Settings - Personal preferences
• Theme Toggle - Switch between light and dark mode
• Logout - Sign out of your account
